Purpose

This Referral Program Policy (“Policy”) governs the referral program offered by Eden Financial Technologies Incorporated (DBA “Cove), (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) for users of our saving and investing app, Cove. By participating in the referral program, you agree to abide by the terms set forth below.

Program Overview

Referral Rewards

  • Referred Users: When you download Cove using someone else’s invite link, or attribute another user as the person who referred you to Cove, you will immediately receive a 30-day APY Booster.
  • Referring Users: When a person you refer makes a deposit into their Cove account, you will earn a 90-day APY Booster.

Booster Activation

  • APY Boosters may be activated within the app. Only one booster may be active at any given time.
  • Users can accumulate multiple boosters (one per qualified referral) and choose to activate a new booster when their current booster expires.

Eligibility

General Requirements

  • To be eligible for any referral rewards, the referring user must have an active, KYC-verified Cove account that is enrolled in the Alpaca High-Yield Cash Sweep program.
  • Participation in the referral program is open only to users who are US tax residents as verified by our KYC process.
  • The referred user does not need to fund their account to receive the initial 30-day booster. However, a deposit (of any amount, subject to potential future changes) is required for the referring user’s 90-day booster to be awarded.

Future Modifications

  • Although no minimum deposit requirement currently applies for a referral to count, we reserve the right to modify this threshold in the future.

APY Booster Terms

Booster Benefit

When activated, an APY Booster increases your APY to the maximum rate available from the Alpaca High Yield Cash Sweep program for the duration of the Booster period (30 days for referred users and 90 days for referring users).

No Guarantee of Fixed Rate

  • Neither the APY Booster nor your base APY guarantees a fixed APY rate or a specific increase on the base rate.
  • The actual APY (including any Boosted rate) is subject to change at any time, without prior notice. Changes may occur independently of the referral program.

Non-Stacking of Boosters

Boosters cannot be stacked or combined concurrently. They must be activated sequentially - only one booster may be active at any time.

Modification or Termination

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the referral program - including any part of this Policy - at any time without prior notice.

Any modifications will be effective immediately upon posting the revised Policy on the app or our website. Continued participation in the referral program constitutes your acceptance of any changes.

Nature of Our Business

Please note that Cove is a financial technology company and an SEC-registered investment advisor, not a bank.

Investment Risks

Participation in the referral program and use of APY Boosters are subject to the inherent risks associated with saving and investing products. The APY Booster is provided as a benefit under the referral program and does not guarantee any particular financial performance or outcome.

No Liability

We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding the accuracy, reliability, or availability of the APY rates or the Booster benefits. You assume all risks associated with changes to the APY, whether as part of your base rate or through an activated Booster.

General Terms

Compliance

Your participation in the referral program signifies your agreement to comply with this Policy and any additional requirements referenced in our Terms and Conditions.

Dispute Resolution

In the event of any conflict between this Policy and the Terms & Conditions, the Terms & Conditions will govern.
